Hello! Thanks for looking. Up for your consideration is my well-used 2001 Integra Type R. I own the car outright, repaired salvage title in hand. All numbers match. This is a low-mileage example for the model year, at around 93,000. The car is perhaps best described as a rolling chassis. It will need to be flat-bedded upon pick-up. It will not will any beauty contests in it’s current shape, but the frame is straight and rot-free.I have owned and driven the car exclusively for the last five years, and I have found it a very reliable, mechanically sound automobile. The salvage title is from flood damage from before I owned it; I was informed that it was professionally repaired by a good shop. I have since replaced just about every rubber hose I could find, just as a precautionary measure. The vehicle has been cross-country many times, and was my DD until a clutch issue sidelined it about a half-year ago. It has been stored indoors since.Outside of the currently not-functioning transmission, the engine is as butter-smooth as a B18C5 has any right to be. It sings that sweet VTEC song we all hear in the back of our minds on quiet days. This car would make a great weekend track car, or with a lot of work, a show car. Yes, this is the one you buy to create that $70,000 Barrett’s Auction example. As is, it would make a great donor car to another race-prepped ITR.As it sits, the vehicle has a lot of character. Under 30 yards of Gorilla tape, no more than 100 zip-ties, and certainly dings and scratches on every body panel. That said, it is a road-legal and road-licensed car: all headlights, tail-lights, and turn signals work. Power windows and locks work. Passes emissions no problem. The few mods include Skunkworks cams, a full Top Secret exhaust, an AEM CAI, and reflash. Pretty good Recaro clones in the front, and a short shifter with phenolic cue-ball on it. Otherwise, the front of the interior is pretty sun-damaged...the rear Alcantara seat cover is still remarkably clean and fresh mostly because who the hell forces someone into the back seat of an ITR. The pictures show everything well, I think. Please ask any questions you may have. I want to make sure you pick up exactly what you expect to pick up. After the deposit is made, I’ll accept full payment only by a certified bank check. Please do not bid if you have any other payment ideas; I will not barter for three tons of crushed glass and two tons of limestone gravel. This is an old-school, no reserve auction. Have fun.
